What is an Administrative Lien?
The Administrative Lien allows enforcement of the arrearages without returning to court. The lien is considered active until it is executed / released.
With this lien, the amount of the arrearage and any amounts due for current support that become due after the default determination was made shall become part of the lien including any after-acquired property. What does this mean? Any property that is acquired after the filing of the lien is considered to have a lien as well.
