About NOAC
Lucas County is a member of the Northwest Ohio Aggregation Coalition (NOAC), which contracts with energy suppliers to achieve the best possible pricing for our residents. Ohio legislation permits aggregation by governments of gas and electric purchases in order to try to save consumers costs on those bills.
NOAC is comprised of 13 member communities: The cities of Maumee, Northwood, Oregon, Perrysburg, Rossford, Sylvania and Toledo; the Villages of Holland, Ottawa Hills, and Walbridge; Lake Township in Wood County, and Luas County representing the unincorporated areas of the county.
The communities as a group periodically bid and negotiate with providers to achieve the best possible rates for aggregation participants in the NOAC communities.
