Zachary Reed, a 22-year-old White man, was shot by police on October 7, 2025, in a parking lot at 3100 Airport Highway in Toledo, Ohio. He was transferred to the University of Toledo Medical Center, where he was declared dead several hours later. On October 8, 2025, the Lucas County Coroner’s Office performed an autopsy and determined the cause of death as multiple firearm injuries. The manner of death is classified as homicide.
