On 12/25/2025, the Lucas County Coroner’s Office was notified by the Lucas County Sheriff’s Office of a body discovered in Orchard Lake near Stone Oak Country Club. Springfield Fire retrieved the body from the water, and they were positively identified as Dr. Cletus Iwuagwu who was previously reported missing since 11/25/2025. We are in receipt of the body and an autopsy examination will be performed tomorrow (12/26/2025). The cause and manner of death are still under investigation. At this time, no foul play is suspected.
