Sanitary Sewer Flushing Program

Preventative Maintenance Efforts

The sewer flushing program is conducted as a preventative maintenance effort to remove any solids that have accumulated in the sanitary system. In rare instances, the pressure from sewer flushing operations can create a vacuum and blow back water through home fixtures, such as toilets. We recommend that you keep your toilets flushed and the seat cover down to minimize any potential back spray. Obstructions or partial obstructions in a home’s vent stack will increase the likelihood of occurrence. Please contact our office at 419-213-2926 to report any occurrence of blow back as described. Our personnel will make notes for future reference with flushing operations in your area.
