The Lucas County Engineers Office has proposed a project to improvement of the intersection of Angola Road and King Road and widening of Angola Road in Springfield Township.
The project is necessary to improve safety and reduce congestion and will consist of the construction of a modern roundabout at the intersection of Angola Road and King Road and also includes resurfacing and widening Angola Road for the construction of left turn lanes at the intersections with Meadow Blvd., Countway Rd. and Wentworth Ave. The project will also include adding a southern leg to the roundabout to provide access to the Springfield Township Administration Offices.
We welcome your questions and comments and a project update presentation is available to review below.
Issues you may wish to comment on include, but are not limited to, the effect of the project on local residents, air quality, the local economy, floodplains, and historic or cultural resources.
