The Lucas County Dog Warden Department is a law enforcement agency enforcing Ohio laws that protect the public from canine-related problems. Our mission is first and foremost public safety. As a part of that mission, we would endeavor to reduce significantly or eliminate the stray dog population and to make dog owners responsible for their pets.
