Overview
Judge Keila D. Cosme was appointed to the Sixth District Court of Appeals by Governor Ted Strickland on October 30, 2009, and she took the bench on November 16, 2009.  She is the first Hispanic American to serve on any of Ohio's 12 district courts of appeals.  Judge Cosme received her bachelor's degree from Boston University in 1990 and her JD degree from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1994. 

Judge Cosme served as a partner with the law firm of Cosme, D'Angelo and Szollosi Co., L.P.A. from 2001 until her appointment in 2009.  She previously served as an attorney for the law office of Keila D. Cosme from 1998-2001 and for the firm of Calfee, Halter and Griswold from 1995-1998. 

She is married to Joseph D'Angelo and has two sons.
