The Primary Election scheduled for March 17, 2020 has been extended until April 28, 2020. 

All voting will be by absentee ballot with the exception of individuals who will require assistance in casting their vote. 

If you have access to a printer, please print your application and mail it to us.

As an alternative to mailing your application, you can always drop it off at One Government Center, 640 Jackson, Toledo, Ohio 43604. There is a secured drop box right outside the front door for your convenience.

Effective on Friday, March 20, 2020, One Government Center will be implementing the following protocols in compliance with the recommendations of Governor Mike DeWine:
  • Access to the building will be limited to employees and members of the public with pre-arranged appointments.
  • Revolving and sliding doors will be locked and access will be granted to employees through use of their badge on the proximity reader at each door.
  • Building management requests that all building tenants pre-arrange visitors and direct visitors to enter the building through the main entrance on Jackson Street, where they will need to ring the intercom to discuss access with the front desk.
  • All individuals entering the building will have their temperature taken by Toledo Firefighters on light duty via temporal thermometers. Access will be denied to anyone with a temperature reading exceeding 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Employees who are denied access may call their office and arrange for their work materials or other necessary items. They will not be allowed to enter the building. 

Due to the limited public access to One Government Center, effective Wednesday, March 25th, 2020 Board of Elections will have a drop box located near the front entrance of One Government Center on Jackson.
All Elections related paperwork may be placed in the drop box to be processed.
Receipts will be mailed for filings to the DOT (Designation of Treasurer) address on file.

Regular Board Meetings are held every month, starting at 11:00 a.m. at the Early Vote Center, 1301 Monroe Street. The next scheduled board meeting is on March 16, 2020 at 5:30 p.m.
