Division of Child Support Services
On Thursday, September 26th, Lucas County Department of Job and Family Services and the Division of Child Support will switch to a new phone system.
While we are trying our best to make this transition as seamless as possible, we wanted to alert you to possible delays.
During the hours of 8 am – 12 pm, you may experience issues getting through to an agent, dropped calls, or above average hold times.
The Ohio Benefits Self-Service Portal and Ohio Child Support Customer Service Web Portal will not be affected by this transition.
Starting on 9/30/19, if you are calling to speak to someone about your SNAP, TANF, or Medicaid case or reschedule an appointment, please dial the centralized number for Ohio Benefits: 1-844-640-6446.
The Lucas County Division of Child Support Services is committed to serving the families in our community by providing quality child support services through establishing parentage, enforcing support orders and collecting and disbursing child support. Our goal is to ensure that families receive the financial support to which they are entitled.
Please note, our fax number has changed. Our new number is 419-213-8591. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
Due to confidentiality concerns, our staff will no longer be able to give out payment information over the phone. In order to check the status of a payment, you will need to log in to the Ohio Child Support Web Portal and create an account if you haven't already.
