Election Technology Manager (Voter Registration)

This full-time position is with the Lucas County Board of Elections (BOE). Duties assigned to this position include but are not limited to the following: responsible for maintaining and administering the Voter Registration system including testing, applying new updates, and communicating with the vendor on any concerns and reporting those concerns/issues to the Director/Deputy Director; maintains/administers "Bridge" to the Secretary of States' Statewide Voter Registration system (DXI); ensures the integrity of data in the Voter Registration system; monitors the Voter Registration server; ensures the nightly backup routines are successful; Maintain and updates the Board of Elections website.


A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming/Networking or six (6) years' experience in systems Analysis, Applications Developer (i.e.: Access and Excel) within a government setting; Cisco CCNA: Cisco Certified Network Associate, core competency on Cisco network equipment including troubleshooting, repair, and device configuration Comp TIA A+: core competency on PC hardware, software and printing and/or Comp TIA Network +: core competency on network fundamentals preferredOR equivalent combination of work experience and education On The Job training will be provided.
